Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned and founded by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India's largest power generation equipment manufacturer.
BHEL is engaged in the design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, testing, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of products, systems and services for the core sectors of the economy, viz. power, transmission, industry, transportation, renewable energy, oil & gas and defense.
Internship with BHEL
To be eligible for internship at BHEL, you must be a student of 4th or 6th semester pursuing B-tech in either of Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy or Computer Science/IT streams. During your internship tenure, you will be working in close association with your mentor who will introduce different aspects of the BHEL and then assign you a project to work on. Some mentors also give small assignments that you will have to complete on time. During the last week of your internship, you will create a project report, which will serve as the main document for your evaluations. After online application, the hard copy of the online application along with following documents must be sent to BHEL's office in your region/district. The company has its offices located in various Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities across India:

3. All Educational Qualification Certificates/Mark Sheet
4. Domicile Certificate
5. Photocopy of Aadhar Card
